How many pieces are in 1 gram of Miyuki Tila?

    • Miyuki Full Tila = 12 pieces per gram.Size: 5mm x 5mm
    • Miyuki Half Tila = 24 pieces per gram. Size: 5mm x 2.5mm
    • Miyuki Quarter Tila = 48 pieces per gram. Size: 5mm x 1.25mm
    • This is an average number of pieces, not an exact. Some pieces weigh heavier or lighter depending on finish. Please don't get salty if you get 99 or 102 pieces instead of 100 (yes, this has seriously happened!)

How can I find the tila color and size that I am looking for??

    • We list all the sizes under the 4-digit color code. For example, gold's color code is 191. But Miyuki technically uses 4 digits, so it will be under 0191 when you search for it.
    • When you pull up the listing, you will see options for whole tila, half tila and quarter tila. If you are not seeing options for half or quarter tila within a listing, it's because Miyuki doesn't offer it in that size, not because we don't have it in stock.Guys! We are stocked to the brim!

    • Priority shipping - processed & shipped within 1-24 hours of order (we are totally ninjas!) shipped with USPS Priority shipping (2 days). This order automatically has a bubble mailer & tracking number with the shipment.
    • Tracking + Bubble mailer - processes after the priority orders, ships 3-4 day through USPS. Priority orders are #1 on our list and bump ahead of all other orders. Orders with paid tracking are second in line, and we will process those once all of our priority orders are shipped. The free shipping orders will be last, and are processed within 2-3 days and then shipped first class via USPS.
    • Free Shipping - processed within 2-4 days and sent USPS first class mail which arrives between 4-7 business days. If your order is below $25, you will not get any sort of tracking number- Why? Let me teach you something.. if you order $1.80 or even $6.00 in beads, it will cost us $3.18 for shipping, PLUS the cost of the product, cost of the envelope or bubble mailer, and our team's time to put together your order. In all, it ends of being $7-10 cost just for us to process and order. Yes, we are crazy, we know it's because we know it's a service to our clients. But please don't expect a tracking number on your small shipment if you didn't pay additional money for a tracking number.

How do returns, refunds, exchanges or damaged goods work?

    • Returns & Refunds We will refund orders that have contacted us within 30 days of the order date. Order will then be shipped back to us and weighed in. We will refund everything except 15%. Because we offer low prices and free shipping, we need to still account for the time our team takes to put together your order, the shipping cost, and the time it takes to then weigh and process the order and put it away. This is how we are able to keep our free shipping and low prices. When you contact us, we will give you a mailing address to return the items to. We are not in charge of paying for your shipping if you decide to return your order.
    • Exchanges On occasion, colors can look different on a computer or phone than they do in real life. We try to give accurate pictures to mitigate this, but it does happen. If you want to do an exchange, simply email mackandrex@yahoo.com to begin the process. We will need to know the product code, and what you would like to switch it for.
    • Damaged Goods We aren't perfect, but I can guarantee your order is perfect the day it's shipped. Although we pay extra to have our orders hand-sorted, we have still found that some of them end up going through the machines. We've seen where it crushes some beads, or damages a bracelet. This is rare, but it DOES happen, and we aren't going to pretend like it doesn't. If you receive a damaged good, or for some reason your product has broken or doesn't work, we will work with you on a personal basis to resolve the issue. Email us at mackandrex@yahoo.com

How do I make tila bead bracelets?

    • First, it takes about 3 grams of miyuki tila beads for 1 bracelet. You will want to get stretchy elastic, either .5mm or .7mm. Cut off 2 pieces of elastic that are about 12 inches long and lay them parallel to each other. You can tie a small knot on the very end of 2 elastics on one side so the beads don't slip off - but make sure to do it at the very end. Instead of a knot, you can also use a crimp bead.
    • You will first guide the elastic through one hole/side of the beads, and then the second elastic through the other hole. We complete one side before we do the other. If you've tied a small knot or have used a crimp bead at the end, it will keep the tila beads from falling off while you are working. If you are using .7mm elastic, you will not be able to use needles, and will need to hand-thread the tila beads. If you are using .5mm elastic, beading needles work great because it easily fits through the hole. We use beading needles for tila bracelets.
    • Once you have threaded both sides, you will tie a surgeons knot (right over left, then left over right) and pull the bracelet so it's firm, but not crazy tight. We tie all 4 ends at the same time, but some bracelet makers will tie the top 2 ends, then the bottom 2 ends, and then all of them together. It really comes down to preference.
    • After the knots are tied, we recommend using E6000 glue. It dries fast and keeps the knots from slipping
    • When the glue dries, you can either leave the bracelet as-is, or you can put a cover over the knot. These are called crimp covers, or knot covers.
